These carriers are available in motorized or manual versions, however, for the M cartridge and ANSI Clip the carrier is always motorized. Manual threading of the leader is required.

The Carrier shown here is a Manual Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used. This Carrier will work in the Indus Readers Models 4601-1, 4601-02, 4601-03, 4601-06, and 4601-11. Available for 110/120, and 220/240 Volt. With special modification this Carrier can be used for the 4601-A3. Specify if required for 4601-A3.

RF Universal

Manual Carrier that accepts both, 16mm and 35mm microfilm in open reels and standard microfiche or jackets.

The Carrier shown here is a Motorized Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels only. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used. The system has a slider control with center position for off and movement in the right and left direction controlling the motion and speed in the forward and reverse direction. The bottom glass opens, preventing the film from getting scratched, when the film is moving in the fast forward and fast reverse modes. This Carrier will work in the Indus Readers Models 4601-01, 4601-02, 4601-03, 4601-06, 4601-A3 and 4601-11. Available for 110/120, and 220/240 Volt.

RFM

Motorized Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels only. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used.

The Carrier shown here is a Manual Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used. This Manual Carrier has geared movement of 2:1 ratio. The top glass must be opened manually to prevent the film from getting scratched. This Carrier will work in the Indus Readers Models 456D-800 and 456D-800E.

RF 16/35-800

 Manual Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used. Carrier will work in Readers Models 456D-800 and 456D-800E.

RF 16/35 Standard

 Manual Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used.

The Carrier shown here is a Motorized Carrier that accepts microfilm in open reels as well as microfilm that is in M Cartridges, ANSI cartridges and C clips. Both 16mm and 35mm microfilm can be used. Our Readers can now be fitted with a microfilm carrier to accept various types of microfilm. There are carriers that will accept both 16mm and 35mm microfilm in open reels, M cartridges and ANSI clips.

Readers 4601-01, 4601-02, 4601-03, 4601-A3, 4601-11, 456D-800 and the 456D-800E can accept the add-on carriers by simply removing the fiche carrier and installing the rollfilm carrier.

Genealogy researchers are finding that using an Indus Reader with the available microfilm carriers is very convenient way to conduct their research in the library or at home.

Those users who have fiche readers can convert their reader to read microfilm as well as microfiche.
