The ImageMouse basic unit includes the illuminated base and the ImageMouse, with our highly functional, user friendly, Windows-based Image Capture software. The ImageMouse PLUS also includes the motorized Combo-carrier (which accommodates microfiche, 16mm and 35mm open reel microfilm, or aperture cards). Optional 3M and ANSI cartridge carriers can also be ordered. These units can be ordered with either a 24X/28X or 42X/48X magnification rate lens. Click here for details.

What type of Microfilm do you have? Most readers are designed to read microfiche but many fiche readers have options available to view roll & cartridge film. To view aperture cards properly an Engineering Viewer is recommended.

Below is a lens chart that will help you determine the proper magnification lens you need to view your Microfiche.

Count how many images are going across your fiche, then how many going down, use a fiche that is full of images with no empty areas. See the chart below to find your required lens size.
